Not only was it valentines day, not only was it Chinese New Years, not only was fashion week going on literally right across the goddamn street in Bryant Park, with all the fancy fucking decafsoymochalattes... but there was a Pokemon card tournament also. A pokemon. card. tournament.

After the day was finally over I shared some of the leftover chocolate truffles I had taken with an old homeless lady on the subway platform.
